Origin of East of Kailash
East of Kailash is a product of Delhi's great planned expansion. As the capital grew southward in the decades after independence, the Delhi Development Authority carved out organised residential enclaves across South Delhi — and this colony, laid out in neat Blocks A to G just east of the historic Kailash pocket, got the name it still carries with pride.
The plan was simple and far-sighted: wide roads, generous plot sizes, parks within walking distance of every home, and dedicated commercial centres to serve daily needs. Allottees moved into DDA flats and residential plots, and over time the colony matured into one of South Delhi's most balanced addresses — equally loved by families, professionals and investors.
